A post from Greg (Brian's Big Brother)
Its amazing the amount of control you can take when you are the webmaster for your little brother's blog. For Example I get to post right on the home page... For those of you who haven't seen or talked to Brian in a while and were under the impression (read that as fooled) my little brother was all grown up, I thought I would share a picture with you to let you know the real Brian is still there. I know the military is doing great things for him, and I am proud of what he is doing, but he will always be my little brother.

First, I want to tell you what a fine young man you’ve become. I’ve prayed for you everyday of your young life and God has answered my prayers in so many ways. He has made you who you are today. Years ago your Dad and I sang a song that I stand on today – “Learning to Lean on Jesus.” This is what’s happening to you now. I’m am so thankful that our faithful Father is standing right beside you this very moment. Waiting for you to lean on Him.
I can’t say I won’t miss your funny smile here at Christmas, because I will. I can’t say I won’t miss the way you cut up with everyone, because I will. I can’t say I won’t miss the way you bug your brother, because I will. But what I know is I love you dearly and I always will.
Brian, serve your (our) country proudly. Our Fathers and Grandfathers served in the past just as you are, for the very freedom we have today. But the greatest freedom we share is the salvation Jesus Christ gave us on the day he died. Remember what that freedom is all about and your time in Kuwait will go faster.
