Ever saved a Doctors life?

Sitting in the ICU, minding my own business and all of the sudden I am saving a doctors life. WOW.
There is something about food in your airway that just makes it hard to breathe.
Life can throw you it's little curves and you've just got to react in the way that you see fit.
Excitement can come when it is completely unexpected.

Crazy times at Camp Arifjan. So, do you get some kind of a promotion or something for that? Just kidding. So glad God has you in the right place at the right time! Love and miss ya!

Hey Brian! You are so my HERO. Keep up the good work and don't forget to chew!

We sure do miss you. Things were not the same without you around this Christmas. You should have seen your Mom when Aunt Becky gave her a framed picture of you for Christmas: tears flowing...Mom and Dad really love and miss you. Cannot wait for you to come home. Luv ya.

Bri -

I have really enjoyed these postings - yours and those of your friends and family.

It makes us feel a part of your life - even when you are so far away. We hope that it gives you the same feeling.

For those of you posting responses - thanks!

As a dad, it is great to participate in the lives of your kids as much as I have been allowed to.

God has set a path for each of us to follow - pray that the leaders of this great nation will choose the right path for our country.

Thank God for those who have gone before all of us and gave much - some their very lives.

Many of my own family have served - and I am proud of all that each of them did:
My Dad (Harry Breckley), My Uncle Ken Bright, My Uncle Don Kruger, My Uncle Bud (Earl) Terry, My Brother-in-law Steve Compton, My former Brother-in-law Gene Thorpe, My Cousins; Gary Kruger, Jim Kruger and Jeff Kruger. And now, My nephew Ken Compton, My Nephew Tony Farrar and my Son, Brian.

Thanks to all who served and who serve today - your efforts are not in vane and your courage is to be envied by all.

Pray tonight and thank God for these and others who put their lives on the line to protect our lives, our freedom and our way of life.

Then thank God for the greatest gift ever given to man-kind: His only Son - who cam willingly to give His life that all who trust him could find eternal life and escape an eternity that awaits all who reject God's matchless love and grace.

Brian - Keep The faith - Perfect Your Faith and Pass it on to all you meet.

With Much Love,

dad

Hey Brian

Great work, when you have the right training God can certainly use you. I hope that doctor realizes how fortunate he is and what an opportunity too show him that he could have been ushered into eternity.

I am so proid of you. It just seems like yesterday you were riding your skateboard all over the place and breaking your ankle.

I pray for God's protection over you and all of our military. May God see you safely home.

Florence says hi also.

Love you
Oscar Hendrix
